Just a few weeks ago, I snagged my first Lilly Pulitzer items.

I was a little excited. And now, I've been bitten by the bug. I was doing fine. I was happy with what I had. And then.... Lilly sent an email. Then, this Crimson Tide fan fell in love with the new fall print "Tusk in Sun." It's heavenly.

The Hart Top (above) is my favorite. I feel like it's the only one I'd actually purchase (hello, price tag) but it's also the most versatile! You can find all of the items in "Tusk in Sun" here.

Wishful Wednesday: Sorority swag

Happy Wednesday y'all!

It feels like this week is flying by for sure. Gotta love that Labor day holiday, right? I'm such a fan of short work weeks!

Today I figured I'd go back to one of my favorites and show you what I'm wishing for this week. My life has been only slightly consumed by my wonderful sorority lately. I've stepped into an advising role with my chapter and I couldn't be happier about it. With all of the ladies' cute swag and precious finds, it's left me lusting after this little lovely.

Happy Wednesday ladies! I'm certainly enjoying this week! It's been heaven to be off work and have time for the house and me. I've got much to share...

I'm finally using up a ton of older makeup and bath products, so I've been on the hunt for a few nicer products that I will love for a while. I'd heard Laura Mercier products mentioned on blogs and Twitter, but we don't have much of it around here.

I got curious about it again this weekend when I heard an old friend who is in her dermatology residency talk about her work. I asked what her favorite products were and what makeup she used. To my surprise, she said almost all of the dermatologists she knew used Dove soap on their skin, and for her makeup, she loved Laura Mercier because of how gentle it is for sensitive skin.

So, they've been added to my wish list, and hopefully they can come live with me and join my beauty routine soon!

We're halfway through the week! I'm excited. This is my first five-day work week in more than 6 weeks, so it's feeling super-long!
