Over my break a couple of weeks ago, I spent an afternoon enjoying time with a sweet friend and playing with one of her fabulous toys - an embroidery and sewing machine! Now, I'm not "sew" crafty, but she was a great teacher and I enjoyed the afternoon. I fell in love with her machine on top of it all and can't wait to go visit and do it again. We knocked out six baby gifts during the afternoon!

Yep, you bet there were some Bama baby gifts involved! SO many pregnant friends, and so many gifts to deal with. But doing it this way was certainly fun!
Do any of you sew? I think I'd like to get a sewing machine, but I don't think I could get one like the one above! Couldn't justify the price (yet!)

ReplyDeleteI have a Janome DC 130 (or something!) and I love it. It doesnt embroider but has over 50 stitches you can do.
ReplyDeleteI started out with a basic brother machine when I was in high school. Get a machine...you won't regret it!
ReplyDeleteI love my sewing machine! I just finished a quilt for a cousin (who's graduating high school this year) with all the t-shirts from his high school teams and travels. :-)
