Our first Orlando adventure was Universal's Islands of Adventure - for the Wizarding World of Harry Potter of course! It was crowded and there were lots of long lines, but let me tell you, I felt like Hogwarts and the village had really come to life! It was so cool, almost a surreal feeling if you know what I mean!
We drank a few butterbeers (yum!) that day...
And enjoyed the view....
Cheered for Harry...
Rode the already-famous "Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey" which was simply amazing, along with the more traditional roller coaster pictured below, Dragon Challenge!
The castle was so pretty, it really looked like the movies! We just stopped and stared at it for quite a while!
I met fluffy little Hedwig outside the Owl Post, which had a line too long for us to actually wait in. An hour line to go shopping? Simply crazy!
It really was a wonderful day! We spent about 4-5 hours in the Wizarding World, then ventured out to see the rest of Islands of Adventure.
It was a great start to a fun vacation!

Oh I'm so jealous! I want to go to Universal just to see that attraction! Did you guys enjoy the butter beer?
