An Epcot Christmas gift...

Mr. Jones surprised me with a fabulous Christmas present - dinner at Chefs de France, the amazing French restaurant in Epcot. I thought there was no way we'd get reservations for anything while we were there since it was a trip taken on such short notice! But he surprised me and wrangled the perfect reservation for us!

So, after a few more pictures, we headed back to France for our reservation!

Isn't it pretty?

Mr. Jones insisted I have my favorite - escargots - for an appetizer! He spoils me rotten! We enjoyed sharing this yummy dish!

We were both so happy with our entrees - and the wine of course! Mr. Jones got the "plat de cote de boeuf au cabernet avec pates" (aka, beef with pasta in cabernet sauce) and I selected "lasagnes de legumes du soleil" (a heavenly vegetable lasagna-type dish). They were both delicious!

And, of course, we split creme brulee for dessert! :-) I am so lucky to have had such a romantic night with a wonderful husband! We were stuffed to the gills after all this wonderful food though - hopefully our 8-ish mile walk during the day burned most of it off, right?

Au revoir,
Mrs. Jones

  2. Creme brulee is my FAVORITE dessert of all time! Its pretty much the only thing I consider worth the dining-out-dessert calories.
