The Wine Chronicles: Davies Pinot Noir

Once again, I got to taste some delicious wine courtesy of my parents' over the holidays! They visited the vineyard it came from a few months ago and this was from the order they placed. I'm in love, and I am not a red wine lover, so that's saying something.

After it was aerated, it was even better. The aeration left none of the traditional aftertaste, which is one of the things I don't usually enjoy, so it made it even better!

Mr. Jones received a wine aerator for Christmas, and I've enjoyed red wine more since we've had it - Does anyone else use one? I'm curious.

XOXO,
Mrs. Jones

  1. We don't have one, but maybe I need one. How does it affect the taste of red wine? I'm not usually a fan but husband loves it.

  2. I've never used an aerator before, but now I am intrigued. I didn't know it would make a big difference, but I love red wine anyway.

  3. My friends who are total winos (vinos?) use an aerator and they swear by it. I have to admit that when we drink wine with them, it's always better! They have this really cool one that attaches to the bottle and aerates when it pours, so you don't have to wait. Pretty neat!
