Review: Burt's Bees Pore Refining Mask

Just thought I'd share my thoughts on a new product I tried! I picked up some cute Burt's Bees mini packs with a gift card a week or so ago, and I finally tried my first new item out!

The Burt's Bees Pore Refining Mask is awesome. However, I have mixed feelings on it because of the way it comes.

See? It comes in a powder? And you mix it up yourself to make a paste that you use as the mask. That's the ONLY bad thing about it in my book. The mask itself felt awesome, and really made me all tingly as it cleaned out my pores! I loved how my skin felt after I washed it off too. But.... it's a little harder to use than most masks you can pick up. I'm not sure about it for that reason. What do you think? Would that be a deal breaker for you or not?

Just wanted to share!

XOXO,
Mrs. Jones

  1. Hmm, I admit, I don't know if I'm a fan of the "mix it yourself" idea. Did you at least feel like you were getting more for your money since you were getting straight product without the added water? I might be able to justify it on those grounds, but otherwise, I would also prefer it be "ready to go."

  2. Maybe it's meant to help it last longer since it's stored as a powder? Was it messy?

  3. That's so weird! I've never even heard of a face mask you have to mix yourself. I agree with the previous commenter - was it messy?

  4. Interesting.
Do you feel like it refined your pores though? I want something to minimize mine so I'm hoping this will work!!

  5. Huh. That is different! Did you feel like it was the consistency you wanted after you mixed it yourself?
